Meet the team

Anoop Panesar

My ABA journey began when my son received a diagnosis on the severe end of the autistic spectrum at the age of 3. Fueled by immense passion, my husband and I were resolute in ensuring our child received the appropriate support at the right time. Substantial research led me to discover ABA therapy, a scientifically proven teaching method that has positively impacted numerous children globally, demonstrating proven outcomes for those with ASD.

Motivated by a deep commitment to supporting fellow parents, I devoted numerous voluntary hours to provide unparalleled assistance globally. From assisting in the establishment of ABA programs to navigating funding support from local authorities and creating a framework post-allocation of funds, I addressed challenges in both school and home environments.

My focus has been on delivering emotional, mental, and professional support crucial for parents throughout their unique journeys. Now, through 1-1 drop-in sessions, I aim to extend the same level of help and advice. Looking ahead, my goal is to ensure that my wealth of knowledge and experience in the realm of ABA is captured and shared. Whether assisting parents new to ABA or those in the midst of a program, my aim is to guarantee the highest quality programs are delivered in an ethical manner.

Sonia

Sonia is a parent to two sons in mainstream school, with ABA since 2018. Her sons are happy, confident, and have great self-esteem. They love steam trains, commercial airlines, swimming, and gaming. ABA has served as a teaching methodology to increase independence, life, and social skills as well as academia. As a family, we celebrate and embrace autism, normalise the language, and advocate a neuro-affirmative approach. Sonia advocates for gentle and nurturing parenting. The role of the team around the child is to be their biggest ally, and cheerleader, and to motivate learning using positive reinforcement in a child-led manner. Sonia works with determination as a parent advisor at the school and across other community platforms to provide emotional and practical support to SEND parents including to navigate the EHCP process. Sonia is near the completion of her degree in law hoping to become an advocate for children with disabilities, campaigning for access to education for all.
